☆ Our God is the all-sufficient One
Genesis 17:1
• He owns everything.
Haggai 2:8, Psalm 50: 10-11
• If the Lord wants something, He doesn’t have to turn to you for help. Psalm 50:12
☆ Therefore, it is not God Who needs you. You’re the one who needs God.
+ The widow of Zarephath was the one who needed help, not Elijah. 1 Kings 17:8-16, 19:4-8
+ The Shunamite woman, not Elisha, needed help. 2 Kings 4:8-17
+ Peter was the one who needed Jesus. If Jesus could walk on water, He could have preached on water without Peter’s boat. Luke 5: 1-7
• When God asks you to pay your tithe, He’s saying that despite all your efforts, there are enemies/outlets you’re unaware of that are devouring your income.
• God does not need your money. You’re the one in need of Him.
Salvation Call
When Jesus says to surrender your life to Him and you refuse, who is losing?
Ask the Lord to have mercy on you, wash you clean with His blood, save your soul, and make you His.
